In the early hours of Monday(Oct7) Laura and Jeremy slipped out of bed and headed to the airport.
I slept through the whole event....I was soooo tired....Laura returned after sending Jeremy back to Calgary. Our plan for the day was to visit the Salt Lake Temple....but alas, Laura fell back to sleep and after a later start we missed the final session of the day ( they're only open until noon)
To console our distress we crossed the street and did some shopping or was it just looking??
After way too much walking we then made a connection with our sweet friend Jessica Madsen and headed off to see her. Even though I had seen her just a few months ago in Hfx. it was a happy reunion. Jessica had just had back surgery a few days before, but walked and greeted us at the door. Her precious children were there and already they've changed since seeing them in Hfx.....how does that happen.....love that family!!
After that fun visit we headed back to Sara's where everyone was getting ready for a fun outing to
a place...names alluding me....Gardner Market Place maybe....it was enchanting....all ready for Halloween and so very many cute shops. We had lots of fun, some yummy eats, and the girls....Madi, Janie and cousin Mary all had a pony ride before we called it a day.
We're so glad that we got to visit and see more of the area.
