Let the Adventures Begin

Despite the pre-winter temperatures here in Calgary, my first day back on the ground got off to a beautifully warm start. I had a great night's sleep, and started today at the Calgary Temple, with Laura. It was a wonderful session, standing room only, and my perspective was lifted a little higher...so wish that others in my life could receive the peace and understanding of the Temple. I will continue to pray for this.

After a few errands, packing,  and loading the car we were off on our Utah adventure...the plan was for an overnight drive....and for the most part it was a great long drive except for some.......

SNOW

CRAZIEST PART OF THE DRIVE WAS BLOWING SNOW THROUGH MONTANA!!!

We arrived in Logan Utah by 7:30ish, and our first stop was a quick visit with Jeremy's niece Brianna.

We then did a walk down memory lane for Laura and Jeremy and visited the Meyer family homestead to take some photos. The home was sold earlier this year when Jeremy's grandparents moved to live with his family in Washington.

After photos, we ducked into Ogden to meet the Hepworth's darling little baby,Cole and Momma Lindz. Then on to have lunch and a car wash with buddy Jeff

an amazing milk shake!!

.....from there it was off to Jeremy's Aunt and Uncle...Mavis and Phil. We received a lovely warm welcome, and the young folk took a much needed rest !! I got to visit with Mavis...an amazing quilter.....she even let me photograph many of her creations. I would love to sew with this lady!!!! We headed over to another cousins...Camera ( Ca...mee...ra) to attend an outdoor/movie school activity. We visited for a bit, but weren't really dressed for the chilly night. It was good to hit the bed early.

Lots of fun with these cuties
