Abit more Calgary....

I could use an eight day week...oh well...not going to happen.....a few more shots from Calgary...

A trip to Calgary will always include hanging out with Cousin Donna. We got together twice...the second time having some western fish and chips with our husbands...
                                               lunch at Trawlers.
One afternoon Laura and I made a trip to see the new Temple being built. Now here I want to mention how much Laura loves the Calgary skies.....well I have to agree with her...they are amazing. While we drove to the Temple the sky suddenly turned black...really black....and it had been sunny

   another view....darkness surrounding us
driving up the street....

and then the sky opened up...like buckets and buckets....we had to pull over.....
rain and then hail....it was horrific

arriving at the Temple site.....
layers of hail on the car
a truely crazy storm......
then just as quickly the storm moves on ,the sun returns and a beautiful double rainbow...
so glad that we had this outing to the Temple....

another beautiful Temple to bless the saints in Calgary

Heading home....and watching the storm travel south before us
                  some awesome clouds roll in...

Laura had to get out to take some photos......
another place that we tried out....when we were up shopping at Ikea

                                       Very tasty.....this was Bill's meal.......
an evening soccer game to watch friend Jon playing...
Saturday we headed south to drop Laura in Lethbridge to attend a wedding....and we had our good byes here...I do not like good byes....

enjoying some Subway before good byes.....

Oh Calgary was fun....and so glad that Laura is so happy
Next stop Idaho USA

PS....angry that I didn't take a photo with Annie in Calgary....so I'll add this
taken in Hfx.....before our trip!!

Laura, of course had to work while we were there. Fortunately it was while we slept ( in her bed) Bill would drop her off at 11Pm...and pick her up at 7am....she would generally sleep off the morning while we roamed, or read, or baked cookies, or visited...or just vegged. Then in the afternoon/evening we would hang with her and her buddies. Billand Laura shopped for her first car ( no photo as it didnt come until after we left)
