Saturday was a fabulous day. After a great night's sleep, a fun muffin in a mug, it was time to get ready for General Conference. We didn't have tickets for the Saturday am session, but fortunately being right there in Utah allows us to relax and watch it on the local TV channel.....almost as good as being there....which happened in the afternoon for Laura and I. Jeremy stayed with the family, as he needed to be recharged with some family energy. The afternoon session was amazing...both being there and all that was taught!!! I ran into old friends, Roy and Amy Bush on the way out, and then lots of Laura's friends while enjoying the delightfulness of Temple Square. After a somewhat long drive back to Jeremy....traffic and a confusing Garmin.....we collected Jeremy and headed to have dinner at his Aunt Kathleen's house.
Dinner was so so delicious...and a real family effort...besides Mom and Dad's efforts, Jeremy's two young cousins...Jocelyn and Jaycee...really are amazing cooks too. The meal and the company were enjoyed by all. Jeremy's cousin Jordan was at work, so the folks drove us to her at the beautiful Sundance resort where we had a quick visit and were treated to an amazing dessert.
Talk about a FABULOUS day!!
