O CANADA
July 1st was a bright shiny day in Yorkton. In fact it was blistering hot day....well above 30C...and I have to confess I missed the ocean!!! We took the kiddies to a splash pad part way through the afternoon, and that seem to give some relief. We had an invite to Mountie friends of Kathy and Jeff's and spent a nice evening visiting with them and others who came. There was a campfire with smores, and then we headed home just around fireworks time. Fireworks were being shot up from the exhibition grounds, and our resident Mountie didn't recommend that we venture near it. Lucy for us most of the fireworks could be viewed from our front yard.
